Aug. 2, 1948

David father died in a logging truck accident just months before David was born.

Nov. 15, 1948

Born in Georgia on November 15, 1948 in Byron Georgia to Homer Reese Bryant and Rebecca Watson Bryant.

September 1968

Joined the United States Army

April 2,1969

Began tour of duty in Vietnam with Battery B, 2nd Battalion, 17th Artillery Regiment. Left to right in the picture is David Gentry, David Bryant, Dan Reeves, and Doug Dunice.

April 30, 1970

David arrived at C Troop, 1st Squadron, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile)

Oct 19, 1970

Killed in Action in Vietnam at the age of 21.

Oct. 27, 1970

Military funeral and laid to rest next to his father Homer Reese Bryant in Warner Robins, Georgia
